Gerdau Ameristeel introduces three new sections of Z-profile sheet piling

Gerdau Ameristeel produces hot-rolled
sheet piling sections for the U.S. and
international markets. The three sections of Z-profile sheet
piling, PZC 37, PZC 39 and PZC 41, are designed for
applications requiring the highest levels of load
requirement, such as deep-water ports. Steel sheet
piling is a rolled structural steel section with interlocks
on the flange tips which enable the joining of
sections to form a continuous wall. Z-profile sections
are used for beam strength in cantilevered and
braced construction on projects, such as retaining walls,
river cofferdams, bridge abutments, foundations and
levee construction. The piling sections feature the
Gerdau Sheet Piling ball-and-socket interlock.
