Leland Industries Inc. has been producing North American made
fasteners for the steel building, agricultural and grain storage
industry since 1984. During that time, Leland has grown to be the
largest domestic manufacturer of nuts, bolts and fastener programs
designed specifically for the agricultural storage and steel tank
industry requirements. Indeed, Leland is now sole-sourced by many
companies active in the above market segments.
From the beginning, Leland's goal was to produce quality
fastener products domestically, using only North American steel and
labour. In addition, we wanted to ensure that our clients received
only the highest quality, most cost-effective products available to
the industry.
Leland's ongoing commitment to quality, domestic fasteners,
combined with years of research and experience in the manufacture
of long-life fasteners, has produced a true innovation: the "Leland
JS1000™ Extreme Life Plating." Beginning in 2010, we began to apply
JS1000™; a plating exclusive to Leland Industries, that meets and
exceeds 1,000 hours in salt spray testing. This phenomenal plating
development exceeds the performance of standard commercial zinc
plating by more than ten times, with NO RED RUST! This is the kind
of
corrosion resistance performance only available by making the jump
to stainless steel-at a price that is far more cost effective.

Powder Coating-The Perfect Complement:
Beginning in 1996, Leland pioneered the process of powder
coating fastener heads (and under the head), to colour match
painted panels and to further increase the corrosion resistance of
our screws and bolts. Today we powder coat in 120 colours,
including a colour to match Galvalume and galvanized profiles. Now,
when applied to JS1000™ bolts and screw, powder coating increases
the corrosion resistance on the fastener head by three times what
is achieved with JS1000™ alone.
Leland's Capabilities:
Operating from our 155,000 sq. ft. head office and manufacturing
plant, Leland's production capability ranges from #6 diameter
screws up to and including 5/8" x 4 1/2" bolts.
Our product offering includes, but is not limited to Master
Drillers, Tappers, Purlin bolts and serrated flange nuts for the
steel builder. For agricultural and steel tank construction, grain
bin bolts, fin neck bolts, chime bolts, and hex head serrated
flange bolts and nuts; all available in carbon steel, 410 or
18-8-300 series stainless.
