SEFAR Architecture introduces Vision precision fabric interlayer

SEFAR Architecture introduced Vision, a
metalcoated precision fabric interlayer typically
laminated within glass or other transparent materials, to
the North American market. Vision utilizes metal-coated
fabrics with various apertures to create depth and a
reflective quality without an overwhelming glare. On a
building's exterior facade, Vision fabrics deliver light
refraction without impeding views from the building interior.
Vision fabrics are also printable with UV stabilized inks to
produce Pantone colors, patterns and other design effects.
Vision reduces solar heat gain while allowing for light
transmission. Vision fabrics are available in six fabric
density configurations and each can be coated with six
different metal coatings: aluminum, aluminum/copper, chrome,
copper, titanium and gold. Vision fabrics feature plain or
twill weaves in a variety of aperture percentages from
25 to 75 percent, as well as a range of light
transmission percentages that range from 18 to 60 percent.
