Commercial Vented
Fascia
Metal-Era Inc. has added to its Metal-Era Airflow Solutions line
with the Hi-Perf Vented Fascia. The fascia is designed to provide
maximum airflow at the roof's eave by taking into consideration the
unique demands of commercial buildings, such as longer runs, larger
surface areas and lower pitches. Hi-Perf Vented Fascia's custom
sizes allow for needed flexibility to accommodate a variety of roof
conditions and ventilation requirements. There is no need for wood
blocking and vented soffits, and fastening holes on the roof flange
and cover are preslotted to allow for thermal movement and to
ensure proper fastening location.
Glazing
System
Designed to dramatically reduce field labor and improve
installation quality, a new glazing system by Fry Reglet
Architectural Metals installs 20 to 25 percent faster than
traditional methods and guarantees straight, even interior glass
installations and sightlines at window sills and ceilings. The Fry
Reglet system includes glazing retainer pieces that accommodate 2
1/2- and 3 5/8-inch (64- and 92-mm) metal studs, as well as 1/2- or
5/8-inch (13- or 16-mm) drywall. The 3/4-inch (19-mm) glazing
groove will accept a variety of thicknesses of glass, allowing the
glazing system to function in full glazed, chair rail and
clerestory glazing applications.
