The LaVista
Conference Center features 60,000 square feet (5,574 m2) of meeting
space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom and additional
breakout meeting spaces. The conference center is flanked with the
257-room Embassy Suites and 246-room Courtyard Marriott.
The project featured a variety of products from Firestone Building
Products Co., including metal roof and wall panels and APP modified
bitumen for flat roofs. Boone Brothers Roofing installed 4,000
square feet (372 m2) of Firestone's UNA-CLAD UC-7 Snap-On Panel
roofing system on the Embassy Suites. Additionally, 10,500 square
feet (975 m2) of HR Ultra Omega wall panels were installed.
The Courtyard Marriott featured a total of 36,000 square feet
(3,344 m2) of Firestone's UC-6 Double-Lock standing-seam system on
the roof's radius portion and UC-7 Snap-On panel system on the rest
of the roof, installed by McKinnis Roofing. The rear of the
building features 2,400 square feet (223 m2) of UC-500 Flush Soffit
wall panels installed onto the screen walls.
All the UNA-CLAD metal roofing panels are in Hemlock Green, while
the HR Omega wall panels are in Stone White and the UC- 500 Flush
Soffit wall panels are in Almond.
