Center Grove Transportation Building, Greenwood, Ind.

Completed in November 2007, this 25,802-square-foot (2,397-m2) facility houses and maintains school buses. The building features Star Building Systems' DuraRib wall system in Saddle Tan and MBCI's BattenLok HS standing-seam roof system in Medium Bronze. A clear span structure from Star Building Systems was required for the size of the maintenance bays located in the two pre-engineered metal buildings. The complex is a total of three buildings with the center being made up of conventional steel and masonry and the two wings being pre-engineered metal buildings.
