Lincoln Station
is one of the new light rail transportation stations on the Denver
Regional Transportation District. The RTD encompasses more than
2,600 square miles (4,160 km2), serving 40 municipalities around
Denver.
Lincoln Station
was designed with a standing-seam metal roof to provide passengers
with comfort and protection from expected adverse weather
conditions and to minimize maintenance requirements. The station
features 5,000 square feet (465 m2) of Englert's Series 2000,
24-gauge panel system in prefinished UltraCool Hartford Green.
The18-inch- (457-mm-) wide panels were installed over the open
framing of the station's pedestrian bridge while it was still on
the ground to minimize disruption to Interstate 25, a major highway
serving the Denver area.
