Architectural firm, WSA Studio, wanted to create a rural image
with siding that reflects a board-and batten look and an interior
with corrugation for the city of Lancaster's new prototype building
for
the State Highway Patrol Post. The designers also wanted to use
the OSHP color scheme. This was
accomplished with metal wall panels from ATAS International Inc.
The exterior wall design incorporates 4,800 square feet of the
24-gauge Multi Purpose Panels (MPW120) in Ascot White, and the
interior walls have 800 square feet of the 24-gauge Corrugated
Panel (BWC374) with a Galvalume Plus finish. According to OSHP, the
new location gives the Patrol improved accessibility to U.S. Route
33. Italso provides a much-needed up-to-date facility and equipment
for the staff.
