Completed in
December 2008, this high-profile travel plaza used metal because of
its long life and durability to withstand harsh New England weather
conditions. MBCI supplied its Super-Lok standing-seam metal roof
systems and more than 23,000 square feet (2,137 m2) of its SuperLok
16-inch- (406-mm-) wide wall panels. The standing-seam roof was
chosen for its lowslope capabilities and its floating system to
help the roof expand and contract. The 24-gauge Galvalume wall
panels were coated in the MBCI Signature 300 Series (PVDF) in
Classic Green.
