product resource for more than a century," said Mike Petrullo,
Chief Executive Officer, Dodge Data & Analytics. "Since the
very beginning, we have aspired to create a comprehensive,
efficiency-enhancing product database that provides
industry-leading value to the design and build community.
Surpassing the 100,000-product threshold, and having 96% of
Architectural Record's top 300 design firms registered, is proof
that Sweets is fulfilling its promise."
To further the exchange of information, ideas and content among
architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and building
product manufacturers, Sweets has created a LinkedIn page,
providing an active forum for the construction industry.
Sweets is also introducing the Sweets College Scholarship,
supporting students on their path toward a professional career in
architecture, engineering, design or construction, and helping to
offset the increasing cost of tuition. The Scholarship will award
$2,500 to a student each academic year. To apply, students are
asked to produce a short video, describing their favorite building
on campus from a design perspective and, for bonus points, to name
building products that stand out in the design.
