New METALCON App Links Attendees and Exhibitors to Show in Real Time

Known as the A2Z mobile application, METALCON's latest
electronic feature is extremely user friendly and provides seamless
interaction between mobile devices of attendees and exhibitors with
the show's Web site. This means attendees can access the
latest floor plan and exhibitor info.
The A2Z app is sponsored by Firestone Building Products, an MCA
member and long-time METALCON exhibitor. It will be launched the
second week of August and will be accessible on the opening page of
www.metalcon.com
with complete directions for downloading and usage.
It offers an upbeat, improved user experience. Attendees can build
and store a personal expo plan and itinerary on their iPhone, iPod
touch®, iPad, Android, other smart phones, and even laptops and
PCs. Their preferences, bookmarks and selections will then be
accessible via any computer or mobile device before, during and
after the show.
A2Z will also
provide access to information about local Rosemont venues, dining
and entertainment near the show site.
Exhibitors get the advantage of having online booth changes and
additions update across multiple platforms in real time.
For all users, the pinch and zoom navigation is fast and makes it
particularly easy for attendees to find information while perusing
the exhibits.
