Stalco Construction promotes Joseph M. Serpe to vice president

Stalco Construction, Inc., a New York City and Islandia,
N.Y.-based general contracting and construction management firm,
promoted Joseph M. Serpe to vice president.
Serpe's responsibilities include overall management of all
Stalco construction operations, supervision of the firm's project
management and superintendent staff, management of selected
projects as Executive Project Manager, and mentorship of junior
project management personnel. In addition, Serpe will
increase his role in business development activities and developing
and implementing his firm's business strategy.
Serpe will also provide management support to the firm's
pre-engineered structures design/build affiliate, Stalco
International Group. Working in a partnership with Varco
Pruden Buildings, a division of BlueScope Buildings North America,
Stalco designs and erects custom engineered buildings for
developers and architects of commercial, office, institutional,
public, and industrial structures on Long Island, in the Greater
New York area nationwide.
As executive project manager, Serpe currently manages design and
construction of the new, $950,000 Florence Building Supply
warehouse in Huntington, N.Y. Stalco designed the
12,000-square-foot structure utilizing Varco Pruden's design
software and building products.
