Nine Governor Proclamations Signed in Recognition of SteelDay

The governors of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan,
Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island and West Virginia have designated
Friday, September 28, 2012, as SteelDay in recognition of the
structural steel industry's contribution to America's
infrastructure, economy and employment. This year's fourth annual
SteelDay, hosted by AISC, its members and partners, is expected to
be celebrated at about 170 event locations all over the country and
features free educational and networking opportunities for the
design and construction community and the public.
SteelDay proclamations were signed by:
- Governor Janice K. Brewer of Arizona
- Governor John Hickenlooper of Colorado
- Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter of Idaho
- Governor Pat Quinn of Illinois
- Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan
- Governor Brian Sandoval of Nevada
- Governor John A. Kitzhaber of Oregon
- Governor Lincoln D. Chafee of Rhode Island
- Governor Earl Ray Tomblin of West Virginia
