Aquatech International Corp. Headquarters, Canonsburg, Pa.

General Industries, a commercial construction and real estate company, renovated a portion of Aquatech International Corp.'s headquarters.

General Industries, a commercial construction and real estate company, renovated a portion of Aquatech International Corp.'s headquarters. The project involved sizing and designing an office building to fit between three existing buildings to accommodate the space for truck delivery. Three metal panel widths were used to accommodate the existing building. On the walls, four horizontal panels were used as an architectural accent.

Gerard Associates Architects designed the building with Varco Pruden Buildings' Continuous Beam framing system to support the second story and maintain deflection requirements for the entrance masonry.

The 9,300-square-foot structure also utilized Varco Pruden's SSR standing seam roof system and Panel Rib wall system. Building frames were extended to support the parapet wall sheathed with Varco Pruden's FP-12 Soffit panel.

Skylights were mounted on roof curbs from KCC International Inc. to provide natural daylighting to the building interior. A mezzanine joist was installed to support two moveable partition walls.

Aquatech International provides water purification systems and wastewater treatment technology for industrial and infrastructure markets.
