Cooper Carry Inc. and TruexCullins and Interior Design specified glass railings for a renovation project for Cliff House resort. The railings maintain oceanfront views and provide safety.

Granite State Glass installed 5,300 feet of CRL-U.S. Aluminum’s TAPER-LOC Glass Railing System at multiple areas. It also installed CRL-U.S. Aluminum’s stainless steel P-Series Post Railing System at exterior locations for handrails and guardrails.

Chris Hanstad, vice president of architectural sales at CRL-U.S. Aluminum, says, “Large-scale and view-oriented hospitality projects like Cliff House resort require glass railing systems that will meet tight construction schedules, improve guest safety and preserve striking views. [CRL-U.S. Aluminum] met the project’s schedule, code requirements and design intent without issue.”

Prior to the project, Cliff House resort had been in operation for more than 140 years. The project was designed to maintain the facility’s historical character and reflect contemporary seaside lifestyle. It was completed in July 2016.
