CENTRIA's Formawall Dimension Series and Formavue Windows were utilized on the 237,000-squarefoot North Carolina National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, completed in March 2012.

Steel Clad installed 16,795 square feet of CENTRIA's Formawall Dimension Series metal wall panels in Medium Gray with an embossed finish and Sundance Mica coating and 13,633 square feet of Formawall Dimension Series metal wall panels in Silversmith with an embossed finish and Sundance Mica coating.

Formawall Dimension Series was chosen because the panels provide a clean, uninterrupted appearance and many options for form, color and texture. CENTRIA's Formavue Windows FV-400 series system was selected because it is designed to integrate with Formawall Dimension Series panels, which eliminates window and metal panel coordination issues at intersections. Formavue windows were also selected for weather resistance and for their standard thermal break that enhances energy efficiency.

The $44.6 million North Carolina National Guard Joint Force Headquarters was designed to provide a reserve center for National Guard personnel throughout peacetime missions. The building includes a diverse array of spaces including offices, conference areas, a 400-seat auditorium, an emergency situation room, transportation control room, dining facilities and other operational spaces. The expansive atrium is used as a drill hall and vertical communications space.

The space is home to the State of North Carolina Emergency Operations Center, the Statewide Transportation Center and the Highway Patrol's Regional Communications Center, making it possible for these organizations to collaborate.
