Metal Architecture Home

Residential

Suppa Residence, Warrenton, Va.

When the Suppa’s house was in need of a new roof, the homeowners turned to roofing contractor, Superior’s Rhino Roofing. The contractor recommended a metal roof because of its durability and how well it would accent the home’s décor, and suggested Techo Tile from ATAS International Inc. Techo Tile is a metal panel with the look of a traditional Spanish tile, or a deep “S” configuration, and is installed vertically up the slope of the roof, with exposed fasteners. This installation included about 3,300 square feet (307 m2) of the 0.032-aluminum, stucco-embossed tile in a Mission Red color with a Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000 PVDF finish.

“The owners fell in love with this roof during the installation process, and they think it perfectly accentuates the style of their home,” said Shawn Green, territory manager for ATAS. “By choosing Techo Tile, the homeowner gets this great Spanish tile look but with all the benefits of metal roofing, including its light weight, durability and sustainability.”
