A team of architects, engineers and contractors met with the owners of Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital to evaluate and state goals for the project and ensure a green project design. AEP Span's 24-gauge Span Seam roof and curve structures in a custom Sienna color were specified for the 84-bed, acute care hospital, which opened in October 2014.

The wall application and equipment screens feature 18-gauge Box Rib and Reverse Box Rib in Cool Weathered Copper, Cool Sierra Tan and Cool Zinc Grey, all part of AEP Span's Cool Dura Tech 5000 standard colors.

Dura Tech 5000 coating, Energy Star-certified and listed with the Cool Roof Rating Council, combines the corrosion protection of a ZINCALUME substrate with a resin formulation and cool pigment technology to provide color retention and reduction in energy demand. The design of the facility integrates sustainable building strategies and complies with LEED criteria.
