Town of Aberdeen Recreation Center, Aberdeen, N.C.

When replacing an old public building where public dances and other public functions took place on the pier of Lake Aberdeen over the past decades, the town wanted the new building to mimic the old train station in the downtownarea. To mimic the old-style metal roof on the train station, while providing a roofing system with longevity and aesthetics, McElroy Metal supplied 10,300 square feet (957 m2) of its 24-gauge Maxima 216 with a Kynar coating in Colonial Red.
