Survey
Metal Building Developer surveyed its subscriber list to find
out more about the challenges building owners and facility managers
face, as well as their thoughts about 2009 and what they expect in
2010. A total of 8,000 readers were e-mailed on an Nth name basis
with an independent survey, and a total of 1,176 respondents
offered insight into their construction responsibilities and 2010
plans.

Survey is conducted annually to keep a pulse on the state of the
industry. This year, an electronic survey was emailed to a portion
of our readership. The survey response rate was 5.3 percent. As in
past years, we divided the country into six geographic regions (see
map).
