Solar screening, heat-gain barrier and stair concealment were three of the reasons San Antonio-based architectural firm Marmon Mok used perforated metal panels on the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio. Made of 0.025-inch aluminum with a three-coat Kynar 500 coating, they were supplied and fabricated by Kovach Building Enclosures, Chandler, Ariz.
