Tubes and Loops

Silver bars supporting sky-high screens. Thirty cylindrical, horizontal aluminum tubes with extended loop profiles wrapped around them aid GKD Metal Fabrics’ stainless steel metal fabric sunscreens on the Liberty Fund Research Library, Carmel, Ind. The sunscreens envelope and protect the 35-foot-high, glass-clad library, and have etched names and events important to liberty in each century on them.
