ATAS expansion signals growth in metal construction industry

ATAS International Inc.[2], based in Allentown, Pa., hosted a a groundbreaking ceremony for its expansion of its second manufacturing facility in Allentown on Grant Way. The existing 6,039 m2 (65,000 sf). building was constructed in 2005, and the addition will add 4,924 m2 (53,000 sf). This will allow for additional metal forming equipment and employees.
The existing Grant Way facility has a photovoltaic solar array on the roof and transpired solar collector metal wall panels installed on the south side of the building. The addition to the building will also have transpired solar collector metal wall panels.
