Undergraduate and graduate students in civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, are encouraged to apply for AISC Scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year. AISC and its structural steel industry partners place high priority on the development of future professionals and are offering $98,000 of aid to more than 20 university students for this year’s program.
“AISC’s Scholarship program is a great opportunity for students to receive financial assistance and more freedom in pursuing their academic goals,” comments Nancy Gavlin, AISC’s director of education.
Scholarship opportunities include:
New to the program this year are the AISC David Ratterman Fast Start Scholarships, offered to freshman and sophomore level students who either share a permanent residence with an AISC member fabricator employee or is the child of an AISC member fabricator employee.
