Alcoa Building and Construction Systems (BCS) announces that Jay Kahn has been named Corporate Identity Manager for North America. In this role, Kahn will have responsibility for corporate identity sales for the Kawneer, Traco and Reynobond® brands, leading a team of dedicated professionals as they focus on product bundling opportunities and sales growth.
Kahn and the CID team will introduce retailers to the wide range of advanced technologies that the Alcoa BCS brands have brought to the market as well as demonstrate how BCS can help them build a memorable brand identity.
Kahn joined Alcoa in March, 2003 as Corporate Identity Manager for Reynobond in North America, which then expanded to a global focus. During this time, he worked with retailers to achieve their design intent while optimizing both installation speed and cost through system solutions. Kahn later served as a National Sales Manager in North America. In 2008, Kahn assumed the role of Global Commercial Development Manager, where he helped bring Reynobond with EcoClean to market.
Prior to joining Alcoa, Kahn gained significant commercial and operational management experience in the building materials industry through various roles at Alpolic®, a division of Mitsubishi Chemical USA, Inc., and Pioneer International, a global concrete and precast manufacturer
