American Ladder Institute promotes ladder safety all year long

The American Ladder Institute[2] (ALI), which sponsors National Ladder Safety Month[3] every March, reminds both professionals and DIYers to be safe and mindful while using ladders.

This March was the 10th anniversary of Ladder Safety Month, which observed five themed weeks focusing on all aspects of ladder safety, said ALI.

Users should be aware of several important safety considerations throughout all phases of ladder use, including choosing the right ladder, pre-use inspection, setup, climbing, transport, and storage.

Founded in 1947, the American Ladder Institute is the only approved developer of safety standards for the U.S. ladder industry. It promotes safe ladder use through safety resources, training, and the development of ANSI ladder safety standards.
