Georgia Web promotes executive vice president, Randy Smith

Wrens, Ga.-based Georgia Web Inc. promoted Randy Smith to executive vice president. Georgia Web manufactures ProfileVent ridge vent products for Glenside, Pa.-based Ventco Inc.[1], which distributes them.
Smith has been at Georgia Web since 2004 serving as plant manager and vice president of manufacturing, where he managed day-to-day operations. Before coming to Georgia Web, Smith spent 24 years at Glit/Microtron Inc., in Wrens, in the nonwovens industry, working in the manufacturing, converting, packaging, warehousing and shipping areas, and managed a warehouse.
