Industry exec. fastens to next phase

Tom Hulsey recently retired from his position as vice president of engineering at Tyler, Texas-based Sealtite Building Fasteners[1]. Having worked in the metal building and fastener industry for over 40 years, he has helped develop and grow the metal and post frame building industry. He has been a driving force in the fastener evolution from nails, tappers, to self-drillers. He has gained and shared extensive knowledge of metallurgy, coatings, processes and applications from his employment at Sealtite, Varco-Pruden and Construction Fasteners Inc. He was awarded several patents and his breadth of knowledge has proven to be a true resource for the industry.
