With Lucas’s recent purchase of an industry leading metal panel roll-former, software, and employee training to properly run the machine. Lucas wanted to ensure the quality of Lucas’ new brand of metal panels both by stringent in-house requirements and with an outside industry trusted source. That would ensure that Lucas’s brand was on par with their requirements and could enable customers the desired possible insurance discounts.
Based on this desired objective Lucas applied for the UL certification to bring added value to their brand of metal roofing panels, Lucas Metal Roofing, for both contractors, residential homeowners, and commercial building owners.
That is why Lucas is proud to announce that Lucas and its brand of metal roofing panels have been rigorously tested by the UL certification representative for this region and have been approved for multiple certifications. Lucas can now offer UL ratings on their fourteen different metal panel colors and two metal panel profiles for 26 gauge material (Sturdi Rib & Super Span X) that Lucas manufactures in-house. Both an UL fire and an UL impact rating. Material that is not 26-gauge material will still carry UL ratings if applicable from reliable metal panel suppliers throughout the country.
The UL Fire Rating is UL 790 and the UL Impact Rating is Class 4 UL 2218.
