The University of Wisconsin-Madison is offering a course called Metal Roofing Systems for contractors, architects, specifiers, roof consultants, engineers, building owners, maintenance staff and sales personnel. The 1 1/2 day course covers history, materials, metallurgy and design principals. Additionally, hands-on demos, troubleshooting and construction details, and low-slope and steep-slope applications are also included.

Metal Roofing Systems, which is offered annually in early December, is instructed by Rob Haddock, founder and CEO at Colorado Springs, Colo.-based S-5![1], who has worked in various aspects of the metal roofing industry for almost five decades.
