Naval Air Station Pensacola Receives “Proud to Buy American”Award From AMS

Architectural Metal Systemsrecently honored Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola for choosing American-made steel in the recent construction of NAS Bachelors Housing. Bill Chandler, owner of Southeast Contractors, the project’s authorized AMS Roofer, presented Mike Jordan, engineering technical at Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pensacola, with a “Proud to Buy American” plaque.

“Choosing a roofing contractor that uses only American-made steel was commonsense for this facility at NAS Pensacola,” said Jordan. “This recognition really inspires a great sense of pride to those who live, work and serve at this facility.”

“Presenting the ‘Proud to Buy American’ award and reading the words inscribed on the plaque left me feeling honored to be a part of such a great network of Roofing Contractors with AMS,” said Chandler.
