Nucor Building Systems Honors Anniston Storage

Nucor Building Systems honored Anniston Storage[1] for using 100-percent American-made Nucor steel in the construction of its new self storage center in Anniston, Ala. Representatives from Anniston Storage were given a “Buy American” plaque at a recent presentation.

By using a NBS metal building system, which is made of Nucor steel, Anniston Storage is helping to create and maintain U.S. manufacturing jobs. All of Nucor steel is made in America. By supporting these efforts, Anniston Storage is playing an important role in stimulating the U.S. economy. In addition, Anniston Storage is positively impacting the environment by choosing Nucor steel, which is made of 85 percent recycled materials.

Nucor Building Systems Builder Bradshaw & Pitts, LLC was the contractor on this site, which contains three major buildings with 118 storage units that cover 17,800 square feet of leasable space. Anniston Storage is equipped with 24/7 state of the art-all-electronic web based access with security cameras, 24 hour customer access and U-Haul services.
