Samco Machinery Launches New App

Samco Machinery[1] has launched its first company application, now available in the iTunes app store[2] for both iPhone and iPad users. Realizing that an ever-growing amount of opportunities were being generated through mobile traffic, the company wanted to take advantage of the technology available and bring Samco ever closer to customers and potential prospects who spend the majority of their time on their mobile devices.

“Our new app will give customers and new visitors to Samco the ability to experience the company with additional technical insights regardless of location and connectivity,” said President and CEO Bob Repovs. “In addition, our experienced sales and support teams will now be even closer to our customers, who can now log and transmit their needs much quicker and efficiently.”

The sylishly designed app was created in Samco’s core colors and is easy to navigate through. Browsing through five major sections, users can comfortably navigate the content, even while offline.

Features include:

• About – an overview of Samco Machinery with corporate video, company overview and product gallery.
• Markets – a series of industry sub-pages containing video, product descriptions and spec sheets.
• Requests for Quotation – an interactive form empowering users to request a quotation via the application.
• Support – includes links to the company website, location map, and broad selection of sales and support staff e-mails addresses.
• News – includes links to latest articles, newsletters, and other Samco related media.

The Samco app can be downloaded for free from the App Store[3]. An Android version is currently in development and will be available in the near future.
