Steelscape Introduces Sustainability Technical Bulletin on Urban Heat Islands

The second Sustainability Technical Bulletin offered by Steelscape, technical bulletin #2, focuses on Urban Heat Islands (UHI). As this concept becomes more popular in the construction industry both in the U.S. and globally, this bulletin is aimed at the following:

• Providing definitions;
• Explaining the consequences of UHI; and
• Ideas on how to mitigate UHI, including metal roofing
