As a registered continuing education provider with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers[1] (FBPE), the Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute[2] (CFSEI) announced that the 15 technical sessions being offered at the upcoming 2015 CFSEI Expo[3] are eligible for continuing education course hours with FBPE.
The 2015 CFSEI Expo is being held at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla., on May 18-19, 2015. It is designed for architects, engineers, and builders/contractors, with an educational program geared toward both skilled cold-formed steel (CFS) framing professionals as well as newcomers.
The event will provide opportunities for education and networking as well as an exposition featuring state-of-the-art innovations, technologies and principles in cold-formed steel framing. The two-day conference is the only one of its kind dedicated to the cold-formed steel framing industry.
Topics covered in the educational sessions include mid-rise construction, acoustics, Building Information Modeling (BIM), clips/connectors/anchors, a cold-formed steel design forum, and more. Registration information and Expo program details are available at http://www.cfsei.org/2015cfseiannualexpo[4]
As a special promotion, the first 10 full-conference registrants will receive a complimentary set of AISI D100-13, Cold-Formed Steel Design Manual, 2013 Edition, valued at $170.00. Details are available on the CFSEI website registration page[5].
