MBMA develops new video

The Metal Building Manufacturers Association[1] (MBMA) has developed a new video, “Metal Building Systems 101,” now available on its YouTube[2] channel. This video is a comprehensive overview of metal building systems and runs for approximately 22 1/2 minutes.

“Our latest video is a great introduction to metal building systems,” notes Tony Bouquot, MBMA general manager. “From their history to their many sustainable features, any viewer watching this can get a better understanding of metal building systems today and why they are so popular.”

“Metal Building Systems 101” begins with a brief introduction of the history of metal buildings before explaining the specifics of what makes up a metal building system. It then explores the many benefits of metal building systems and dives into their sustainability and energy-efficient attributes. The video also dispels several industry misconceptions. Other topics addressed in the video include:

• diverse uses and customized applications of metal building systems,
• metal roofing,
• IAS 472 accreditation,
• environmental impact studies for metal building systems, and
• insulation options.

The video finishes with a list of valuable metal building resources that are available from MBMA. These include technical guides and other publications, webinars, case studies and more. Detailed information about these resources can be found on MBMA.com[3], and approximately 30 additional videos are available free at MBMA’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/c/MBMAMEDIA[4].
