More than 115 MCA members and other interested parties learned about ongoing projects and initiatives at council and committee meetings, mingled with colleagues and competitors alike and celebrated MCA’s 30-year legacy of supporting the metal construction industry at the Annual Meeting in Rancho Mirage, CA earlier this week. Attendees had more than a dozen meeting sessions to choose from and several group activities.

One of the highlights of the week was the Awards Luncheon and Opening General Session on Sunday, January 27 featuring election of several new board members, the presentation of the Larry A. Swaney Award to Ted Miller of Miller Clapperton and an introduction of our new Heritage section[1] to the MCA website.

Another highlight was the 30th Anniversary Dinner and Celebration on Tuesday, January 29. Several founding members and early participants of MCA such as Tem McElroy, John Lawrence, Harold Schroth and Lisle Wade toasted the group and provided a few comments.
