National Roofing Contractors Association Updates NRCA Pocket Guide to Safety

The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA)[1] has updated its
NRCA Pocket Guide to Safety to include the most current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and safe work-place practices for roofing professionals.

The guide is a 125-page, pocket-sized, spiral-bound guide recommended for use by laborers, mechanics, foremen and other on-site workers.

NRCA Pocket Guide to Safety addresses the OSHA requirements related to:

• Fall protection
• Electrical hazards
• Heat illnesses
• Personal protective equipment
• Fire prevention
