NRCA University[1] has introduced its ProForeman Certificate Program[2], the first of a series of roofing company employee certificate programs.
Through the ProForeman Certificate Program, roofing company owners can help establish career paths for their best employees while driving sales and gaining a competitive advantage. The program will help companies build credibility and increase professionalism with customers, as well as gain market differentiation by committing to the highest standards of roofing professionalism.
Upon completing the program, a foreman should be able to communicate effectively with his or her crew, explain the process of completing a roofing job from sales to final billing, speak with company personnel and customers regarding roof systems and provide rationale for system and material choices, demonstrate a proficiency in basic math skills applicable to the foreman’s role, establish effective safety systems on jobs sites, affect job-site behavior and culture through training, and list responsibilities of various roofing company personnel.
