Former Midwest Roofing Contractors Association president Kurt Baumgartner Passes Away

The Midwest[1] Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) announced former president Kurt W. Baumgartner, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the age of 75.

Kurt led Martin Roofing Company[2] for many years and was a pillar in the Wichita construction community. His leadership and service to the MRCA were invaluable, culminating in his receipt of the organization’s highest honor, the McCawley Award, in 1998.

“Kurt will be remembered not only for his professional contributions but also for his deep faith, generosity, and love for his family, nature, and of course—his dogs. He lived with purpose and leaves a lasting impact on all who knew him,” a press release states.
