Lexicon promotes Whitmer and Amneteg, welcomes Petersen

Lexicon Inc.[2] has promoted Gary Whitmer to executive vice president of sales and Hokan Amneteg to vice president of sales, both within the company’s Fabrication Group.

“Gary and Hokan have been tremendous assets to our sales team, and we’re excited to see them step into these leadership roles,” said Fabrication Group president Ryan Walmsley. “They’ve earned the trust of our customers and teammates through their impressive work ethic and their dedication to building strong relationships.”

Whitmer has been with Lexicon for 14 years and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction. As executive vice president, he will continue to mentor and consult with the sales team while working with the marketing and communications team.

Amneteg joined Lexicon in 2023 as a sales executive. As vice president of sales, he will work with Whitmer to lead the Fabrication Group’s sales strategy, cultivate new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and help guide the company’s growth.

The company also welcomed Erick Petersen as sales executive for the Northern Region.

“We see the value of the dedication and expertise Erick has demonstrated throughout his career, and we know he will be a great asset to the company,” said Amneteg.

Most recently, Petersen served as director of sales and estimating at Cimolai-HY of Lynchburg, Va., and Olean, N.Y.
