Monday, October 20 – Pre-Show Adventure
Valley of Fire Off-Site Tour
Begin the METALCON experience with a half-day adventure through Nevada’s stunning Valley of Fire. Led by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Adam Bautz[2], founder of Outdoor Travel Tours and a graduate of The Semper Fi & America’s Fund Apprenticeship Program, this guided tour offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow attendees in a spectacular natural setting. An additional fee applies. This fee will help support Semper Fi & America’s Fund. Select this option during registration.
Tuesday, October 21 – Opening Day Connections
Women in Metal Construction: Metal & Mimosas
Start the day at 7 a.m. with a celebratory breakfast event tailored to women in the industry. Enjoy an inspiring talk from Jennifer Wilkerson, of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), titled “Building Our Tomorrow: Women in the Skilled Trades“. This empowering gathering offers both networking and recognition for the women driving the future of metal construction. Limited space available. Pre-registration required.
Speed Networking
Held at 3 p.m. on the show floor, this fast paced event is designed to maximize connections with potential clients, partners and peers. Bring your business cards and be ready to exchange ideas and spark new opportunities. Pre-registration is required. Included with registration. Check the box when signing up.
Welcome Party on the Show Floor
Wrap up the first day with a lively Welcome Party beginning at 4 p.m., in the central aisles. Mingle with colleagues, forge new friendships, and celebrate the kickoff of METALCON in style.
Wednesday, October 22– Investing in the Future
Future Leaders of METALCON
Calling all emerging professionals aged 40 and under. This exclusive initiative is crafted to empower rising stars with targeted education, career insights and a valuable support network. The day culminates in the Future Leaders Happy Hour at 4 p.m., in The Backyard. Included with registration, just check the box.
