Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc., based in Beloit, Wis., launched an online Maintenance and Repair Selection Tool to identify proper maintenance and repair products for low-slope roofs.

To begin using it, contractors, facility managers and other users select the type of roofing system: metal roofing, TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, or built-up roofing. From drop-down menus, the issue or need to be addressed is selected, which could include ponding water, open seams, fastener back-out, membrane patch or loose wall flashings. The tool then recommends appropriate product options and solutions; in most cases, multiple choices are offered.
