When attaching Dynamic Fastener’s Dyna-Clamps to 24-gauge steel panels to install the Dyna-Guard snow retention system, the recommended set-screw torque to use is 130-inch pounds. Dyna-Guard is an 8-foot-long extruded aluminum rail with a T-shape profile. It has 2-inch-wide strips of the same metal roofing material inserted into it. Dyna-Guard is installed by attaching nonferrous clamps or mounts to a metal roof, and bolting or screwing the system to clamps or mounts. Thirteen Dyna-Clamps with round-point, stainless steel set-screws and Sno-Dams are offered. Sno-Dams attach to the back of Dyna-Guard and inhibit snow and ice from sliding underneath them.
