Artificial intelligence helps process flat material

The Bradbury Group’s FlatTrak CL Strip Evaluation System uses artificial intelligence to analyze strip condition and provide suggested adjustments to levelers to process flat material. The system comes with a material conveyor and flat measuring surface to match a pass line and line width. A material encoder identifies strip travel length. An end-of-coil proximity switch signals when coil is complete and ready to reset. A programmable logic controller (PLC), input/output (I/O) and amplifiers are enclosed in a machine junction box.
