Milwaukee Tool’s Cobalt Red Helix Drill Bits are engineered for durability and long life in hard metal applications. They are used in specialty drilling applications with stainless steel, 4140 alloy steel and cast iron. Cobalt Red Helix Drill Bits have a variable helix with a 35-degree helix angle, which ends at 15 degrees. The drill bits have a 135-degree split point tip that prevents walking. They provide rapid chip removal and limit heat buildup to stay sharp.
