Cladding surfaces vary depths, sizes, colors

Petersen Aluminum Corp.’s Modular AL wall panel system creates metal cladding surfaces with panels that have different sizes, depths and colors. Cassette-style patterns are completed with panel depths ranging from 1 3/8 inches to 3 inches. Widths of joints between panels can be designed from 1/2 inch to 1 inch. Panels can be installed on a variety of substrates including plywood, insulation, purlins or combinations of the three. They are produced in 0.05-, 0.063- and 0.08-inch-thick aluminum. Panels can be perforated including in patterns that spell words, form logos, shapes and images. There are 46 standard PAC-CLAD colors as well as custom colors. Assemblies meet test standards including E283, E331, E330 and AAMA 508.
