Coatings and finishes products were featured in Metal Architecture’s 2023 issue.

ATAS International Inc.

ATAS International’s Woodland Series of panel colors come in four wood grain patterns: Birch, Cedar, Driftwood and Walnut. The 70% PVDF coatings are available in 0.032-inch-thick aluminum, and used for ceilings, soffits and wall cladding for building interiors and exteriors. To add more visual depth to finishes, metal panels can be embossed in wood grain patterns.

CertainTeed Corp.

CertainTeed’s SMARTCOAT 450 high-solids silicone coating is a silicone-based, solvent-free, single-part roof coating that creates vapor-permeable membranes. SMARTCOAT 450 can be applied to a variety of surfaces including metal, low-sloped or flat roofing systems, vertical walls and masonry. It comes in White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Santa Fe Tan and Black.

Metalwërks

Metalwërks’ Arcwall Ship Lap wall systems are produced with solid aluminum or stainless steel plate. Aluminum panels are finished with Kynar or architectural triglycidyl isocyanurate (TGIC) polyester powder coatings. Stainless steel panels are offered in non-directional satin and smooth finishes. Arcwall Ship Lap’s horizontal panels can have variable reveals, and can be flat or curved.

Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings

Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Fluropon Continuum coating is a two-coat, mica-based system for pre-painted coil products including metal roof and wall panels, metal soffit panels and fascia, and post-painted extrusion products including curtainwall framing, window and door frames, post-painted metal panels, louvers and sunshades. Fluropon Continuum coating is offered in many colors. It does not require clearcoats. Also, it can be customized.
