Kloeckner Metals Corp.
Kloeckner’s physical vapor deposition (PVD) anti-fingerprint (AF) coating is a nano-layer polymer coating that repels fingerprints, water, oil and permanent markers. The coating is thin and does not change surface texture, visual characteristics or formability of material. PVD AF coating is applied in two steps: a thin silicon oxide layer is deposited followed by thermal deposition of the polymer.
PPG Industries Inc.
PPG’s PPG Durastar spray coating is a one-coat application for extruded aluminum building products and components. It is composed of a polyester resin and is applied directly to metal or over a primer. The spray coating provides corrosion resistance, color fastness and chalk-, scratch- and mar-resistance. PPG Durastar coating meets AAMA 2604 requirements and has low volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and low hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).
Pure + FreeForm
Pure + FreeForm offers finishes that look like rust and weathered steel with varied textures, patterns, shades, and gloss to matte. The finishes include Autumn Rust Medium, Blue Rust, Gilded Rust, Midnight Rust, Parisian Rust and Wewatta Rust. Materials meet the AAMA 2605 specification for exterior finishes.
Steelscape LLC
Steelscape’s Vintage Heritage finishes have a metallic luster using fluorocarbon pre-paint technology. There are two Vintage Heritage finishes: Evolution finish and Legacy finish. Substrates include 24- and 22-gauge G90 TruZinc-coated steel and AZ50 ZINCALUME-coated steel. Surfaces are smooth and without blistering.
