Dura Coat Products Inc.

Dura Coat Products’ Ceranamel XT-40S coil coating, named for its ceramic- and porcelaintype finish, is formulated with silicone from Dura Coat Product’s resin system. It may be applied to primed, hot-dipped galvanized, zinc-aluminum, alloy steel and aluminum substrates. The polymer coating forms a hard surface that protects surfaces from transit and installation damage when it is applied on DC477 universal primer. Ceranamel XT-40S has internal lubricants for rollforming applications, runs at high line speeds and meets Cool Roof and Energy Star standards.

PPG Industries’ Duranar GR and Coraflon GR coatings feature a clear, graffiti-resistant barrier on the pigmented color layer of the coating. Duraprep Prep 400 removes graffiti, paint overspray, pen, marker ink, lipstick, scuff marks, tape residue, bugs and tar from surfaces with Duranar GR and Coraflon GR clear coatings. Duranar GR coatings are available in a variety of low and medium glosses; Coraflon GR coatings are for high-gloss applications.

Valspar Fluropon Extreme coil coating is formulated to withstand bending and resist abrasion during fabrication of standard seam roofing. It was tested to withstand repetitive sliding and surface-on-surface friction. The 70 percent PVDF Fluropon coating has a smooth finish and color, and gloss retention. Fluropon Extreme resists graffiti, stains, chalking and fading.
